Consider a FERS employee who worked for 15 years and then resigned at the age of 50. He is then reemployed in a FERS position at the age of 57, works for one year and then retires at 58. Is this employee eligible under MRA +10? Would he be eligible to continue FEHB if he was covered continuous for all of his service? Is this a way to turn what would be a deferred retirement into an immediate one?
