FEHB question regarding LWOP time during last five years of Federal employment before retirement

I have been continuously enrolled in a FEHB Program plan since 2003. I am going to retire sometime in the next five years, with over 33 years under CSRS Offset.
My wife might take an overseas job starting in August / September 2019.
If I take LWOP for the later half of CY19 and into CY20, how does that impact my FEHB enrollment? Am I still enrolled in FEHB while on LWOP? Thanks!

LWOP is creditable service for retirement as long as it does not exceed 6 months per calendar year. Meaning if you leave in late 2019 and return in mid-2020, for retirement, as long as you do not exceed the 6 months in either calendar year, it will all count. If you exceed the 6-months of LWOP in a calendar year, your retirement Service Computation Date (SCD) will change to reflect the excess LWOP. However, your question is about FEHB. The rules pertaining to FEHB are different. You are permitted up to 365 days of LWOP although, you must pay the employee portion for that period of LWOP to keep your FEHB.
