FERS Annuity Supplement Went Away at age 62, does it immediately go away for ex-spouse too?

I’m 62 and OPM recently sent a statement saying they are no longer paying the FERS annuity supplement. My ex-spouse is only 60 1/2. Under our divorce decree she was awarded 43% of my gross annuity, which up until now included the FERS supplement. Is it OPM policy to continue paying her her share of the FERS annuity supplement, until she reaches 62?

If your divorce decree awards her a percent of your pension, she will receive just that percentage. So if you are no longer eligible for the supplement she will only get the 43% of your basic FERS
