I am a CSRS annuitant. Can I apply for a U.S. Postal job without penalty?

When you return to federal service as a reemployed annuitant, unless there is an exception, the position you accept is required to reduce your pay by the amount of your retirement. So there is no reduction in the amount of your retirement check however your salary will not be paid at the full salary rate due to the offset.

Liteblue is a postal portal so you can check your current information and make benefit changes. In order to provide you specific information on your retirement I would need to know what retirement option you are under, how many years of creditable service you have and your age.
