FERS Annuity if on Social Security Disability?

I left my DoD job in 2014 after 8 years of employment there, and I am currently on Social Security Disability. I am 60 years and did not receive any information regarding any FERS retirement or disability pay. After finding out that I could have applied for disability within one year of my disability (which happened on base, while I was an employee) I am uncertain of my eligibility. Am I entitled to any FERS retirement pay?

If you had an on the injury, you should have filed with OWCP however that is not a retirement option. You could have also filed for disability from FERS however since it has been more than a year, at this point as long as you left your FERS contributions in the fund when you left in 2014, you would be eligible for a deferred retirement at age 62.
