I worked under CSRS; I do not qualify for a pension as I drew down my payments.

I now qualify for social security retirement benefits. What effect, if any, will my government work have on my SSA retirement benefits?

If you are saying that you had your CSRS contributions refunded to you which, in turn, negates your ability to draw a pension, then there will be no impact on your Social Security benefit. The Windfall Elimination Provision only applies when you earn a pension from work covered by Social Security, such as CSRS. Here is some information from the SSA website: This provision can affect you when you earn a retirement or disability pension from an employer who didn’t withhold Social Security taxes and you qualify for Social Security retirement or disability benefits from work in other jobs for which you did pay taxes.
