My Federal job as a FLSA Non-exempt employee has a permanent duty station in one town, but 15 miles away they have another location. About once every 3 months I’m required to start my day at the other site for about 2 weeks. Am I eligible for mileage reimbursement, since it’s away from my assigned permanent duty station?

Some DOD Duty Stations cover 3 counties. When the host units want to one-up the tenant units, tenant employees are ordered to change Work Sites within the duty station area–making room for non-DOD and even state employees. Tenant employees pay with their time and funds to satisfy these power-plays.
