Once re-instated, is there a time employed requirement before eligibility for retirement?

I resigned from federal service after 26 years at age 50. If reinstated, is there a minimum time of continuous employment post reinstatement before eligible for retirement benefits or do standard age/years of service apply?

The normal age and service requirements would apply for retirement in the event you return to federal employment. In the examples that follow, I'm assuming that you are covered by FERS,
If you returned to federal service at the age of 58, you could retire immediately under the reduced (MRA+10) requirement, though it would reduce your annuity.
If you returned to federal service at age 58 and did not want to take the reduction that is associated with MRA+10, you could wait until 60 and retire under the 60+20 requirement.
If you didn't return until 60, you could retire immediately under the 60+ 20 requirement.
