This question is in regard to earning limits for FERS Social Social Security Supplement.

As a federal employee, I understand that I am subject to an earnings limit of around $17k if I take the FERS SS supplement. But what about income from my spouse? Is her income subject in anyway subject to this earning limit. Or it is just my income as a retired federal employee?

The earnings test only applies to salaries and wages you have earned after you have retired from federal service. Whatever your spouse earns is not used in the earnings test for your FERS retiree supplement.
